Nunavut Housing Corporation clarifies its role in the labour dispute between Iqaluit Housing Association and Nunavut Employees Union

In response to public discourse on the labour dispute between the Iqaluit Housing Association (IHA) and the Nunavut Employees Union (NEU), the Nunavut Housing Corporation (NHC) today released the following statement:

“The Nunavut Housing Corporation is not a party to the negotiations between the Iqaluit Housing Association and the union. IHA is a separate and distinct legal entity. NHC encourages the two sides to continue negotiations at the bargaining table.”


Nunavut 3000

Nunavut 3000 will create more housing for Nunavummiut by developing partnerships and investing in innovative construction methods that increase efficiency and decrease costs.
